Louise Pope Director Louise has accumulated over 15 years of recruitment experience in the UK and Australia. After successfully managing teams for one of the world's largest finance recruiters, Louise transferred to the Sydney office in April 1999 to launch the Australian operations. Leading the Accounting and Finance divisions Louise launched new offices, and new product lines, managing the group through significant growth. After 10 years with this global listed recruitment company, in 2004 Louise founded Crimson Consulting. Over the years Crimson established itself as a quality and respected recruitment firm. In 2008 Crimson created a new identity, Aequalis Consulting. Louise’s energy, passion and ambition still fuel the business and will continue to contribute to Aequalis’s long term success.
Simon Boulton Director Simon has over 14 years of recruitment experience in London and Sydney. Simon recruited in the Financial Services markets, with a listed US Staffing firm, launching a bespoke banking business in the City of London. Following this success he moved to Australia in 1999 to launch their Australian operation, continuing his focus within Banking and Financial Services, managing and growing both temporary and permanent teams. Simon joined a local boutique financial services Search Firm to develop the CFO practice. In 2004 he was approached by a global financial services, capital markets search firm to launch the Australian business with a specific mandate to establish and grow their Asia presence. Simon joined Aequalis Consulting in 2008, working closely with Louise to lead the strategy and overall management of the Company.
Ben Falloon Senior Consultant - Temporary Division Ben joined Aequalis Consulting in 2007, Ben has displayed tenacity and commitment to both his clients and candidates. He differentiates himself by committing to the delivery of quality service. As one of the initial members of the firm Ben has progressed to Senior Consultant and now leads the temporary division. Ben has a considerable track record working for clients within the blue chip commercial arena and SME’s recruiting senior accountancy and support function roles on a temporary and interim basis. Ben is now instrumental to the long term success of Aequalis Consulting temporary business.
Tyrone Burnet Consultant - Temporary Division With several years in the Hospitality Industry managing and training a busy team for a major hotel group, Tyrone decided to start a second career and recently joined Aequalis Consulting. Tyrone specialises in the placement of temporary and interim staff in the accounting sector across a broad range of industries. Tyrone is recongised for providing high quality service for clients, through the development of relationships and tailoring services to specific requirements.
Ben Ryrie Consultant - Permanent Division Ben has joined Aequalis Consulting to further establish the permanent division. Ben is driven, committed and recognises he is ultimately judged on delivery. Ben is instrumental to the commitment and delivery of quality service and endeavors to go beyond the call of duty to maintain lasting relationships with our customers. Ben has joined Aequalis Consulting to further establish the funds management, superannuation, wealth management, insurance, property and the broader financial services sector. His expertise in finance and accounting plays a vital part in helping clients identify emerging trends and corresponding strategies for success.
Ellie Grey Consultant - Permanent Division Having worked in various industries and with a passion for knowledge, Ellie is instrumental to supporting the team at Aequalis Consulting. Ellie’s analytical skills and passionate approach, enables her to cultivate and suggest strategies for individuals and corporates to identify and prospect the best people and opportunities in the market.
Angelo Paraskevas Operations Manager Angelo has an extensive and comprehensive background in financial and operations management. Prior to joining Aequalis Consulting Angelo led and managed back office operations for some of Australia’s reputable organisations, including one of the worlds most successful recruitment firms, Angelo provides Aequalis Consulting with commercial / financial support in addition to managing all HR & operations activities.
Claire Fileman Office Manager Claire has extensive experience supporting recruitment & search professionals and is instrumental to the overall success of the business. In addition to supporting the team, Claire assists Angelo with payroll and accounting services, in addition to managing all marketing & events.
Claire and Angelo first worked with Louise & Simon in early 2000 assisting with the launch of a global recruitment firm. Aequalis Consulting are excited to have such specialist experience within our internal support function.
