We’re representing a leading player in the infrastructure and energy space who are looking for an ambitious Cost Controller (with scope to step in at Senior level for the right candidate). What you’ll be doing:

• Own cost performance reporting and analysis across major projects

• Develop and monitor budgets, track expenditure, and forecast future costs

• Analyse variances, provide insight, and influence project direction

• Manage commitments, requisitions, invoicing, and contract variations

• Partner with Commercial and Operational leaders on financial performance

• Support close-outs and lessons learnt reviews that sharpen future delivery

What we’re looking for:

• Commerce, Accounting, or similar tertiary qualification

• 5+ years’ experience in cost control within energy, infrastructure, or civil construction

• Strong exposure to high-volume cost reimbursable contracts

• Advanced Excel financial modelling skills (you know your way around data)

• ERP system knowledge and the ability to keep pace with complex reporting

• Clear communicator who thrives working across project teams and deadlines
