Finance Manager

We’re recruiting a Finance Manager to join a well-established, privately-owned infrastructure company based in Toowoomba. Known for their strong values, long-term projects, and commitment to their people, this is a business where finance plays a critical role in strategic decision-making and operational success.

As Finance Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day finance function while providing commercial insights to support project delivery, business growth, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management

• Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger activities

• Partner with operational and project teams to provide real-time financial insights

• Prepare board reports and support financial strategy with the executive team

• Manage compliance, audits, and statutory reporting

• Drive process improvements across finance systems and controls

  
  

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in a senior finance role – ideally in construction, engineering, or infrastructure

• Strong technical accounting knowledge and commercial acumen

• Experience leading a finance function and mentoring junior staff

• Comfortable working in a hands-on environment with strong collaboration

• CPA/CA qualified (or near completion)
