About the Role
Our client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Associate Director to provide strategic commercial and technical advice to clients planning, delivering, and investing in major public and private sector infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in establishing governance frameworks, managing procurement, tendering, assessments, and approvals of major Government and private sector infrastructure projects, as well as providing commercial, technical, and operational due diligence of infrastructure assets.
The role requires the Associate Director to deliver high-quality documents/outcomes as required by the scope of services, client management, management of resources, budgets, and lead an integrated project team with multi-disciplinary membership from the firm's businesses, client organization, and other advisors. They will also be responsible for supporting the development of less experienced employees, contributing to the recruitment of suitable employees, and working with the team in Business Development, seeking new clients and assignments.
The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Commerce, Law, Management, and/or Engineering, and will have a strong understanding and proven experience with stakeholder management. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to multi-disciplinary audiences, including senior executive-level clients, and demonstrated ability to lead and work cooperatively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will possess sound analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with major infrastructure or services transactions using varying contracting models, the ability to manage and grow business relationships, and demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
