About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Bid Director to lead the development and delivery of compelling bids for a leading UK-listed company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering high-value bids across multiple sectors, with the ability to manage large and complex bids from start to finish. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a significant impact on the growth and success of the organisation
Due to continued growth an exceptional opportunity exists for a bid director to join this expanding team. Working closely with the executive management team you will be responsible for building a bid pipe line that will support the achievement of profitable and sustainable growth. You will develop facilities management, justice, health, defence, and the government market, implementing a clear bid strategy, developing win themes and differentiators before, during and after the tender process. You will manage a large team of bid managers, writers, commercial managers etc. whilst juggling all aspects of major bids, contract negotiation and transition. You will develop relationships with clients, industry bodies, government official and political advisors both locally and in Asia. You will have overall autonomy to lead and develop the strategy for the bid / tender process.
To be successful you will have a proven track record of major wins and be able to demonstrate effective bid planning and management. You will already have built solid relationships within the facilities management, justice or health sector and have the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
