The Energy Analyst will play a key role in conducting research, analysing data, and developing insights to support the firm's client engagements. Responsibilities:
Conduct research and analysis of energy markets, policies, and technologies to provide insights and identify trends
Develop financial models and perform quantitative analysis to evaluate the economics of energy projects and investments
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client projects on time and within budget
Communicate insights and recommendations to clients through written reports and presentations
Keep up-to-date with industry developments and trends and share knowledge with colleagues
Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as economics, finance, engineering, or environmental studies
Experience in energy consulting or related fields such as finance, investment banking, or energy policy
Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modelling and quantitative analysis
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Knowledge of energy markets and policy issues
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools
