Your Role

As Bid Director, you will take the lead in developing, managing, and delivering strategic bids that drive the company’s growth in the transport sector. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will be responsible for:

• Owning the bid strategy – defining win themes, differentiators, and commercial approaches.

• Managing end-to-end bid processes, from pre-tender engagement to final submission and negotiation.

• Collaborating with internal teams including commercial, legal, technical, and finance experts to shape compelling proposals.

• Engaging with government, industry bodies, and key transport clients to enhance the company's positioning.

• Leading and mentoring a team of bid managers, writers, and commercial specialists.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A proven track record in leading and winning major bids in transport infrastructure, rail, or related sectors.

• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing high-value tenders for government and private sector clients.

• Expertise in developing winning bid strategies and leading multidisciplinary teams.

• A deep understanding of transport procurement processes and compliance requirements.

• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
