As a key member of the payroll team, supporting the Payroll Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process for approximately 6,000 employees across Australia and NZ. This fast-paced environment offers plenty of variety, as seasonal trends and dynamic business needs shape the payroll landscape.
In this role, you'll interpret complex Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs), calculate shift calculations, process leave accruals, maintain employee details, and respond to payroll queries. With autonomy in managing your own share of the payroll, you'll need to be self-reliant and possess 4-8 years of payroll experience, along with a strong understanding of payroll legislation. Exposure to SAP would be advantageous. You'll be both operationally and strategically focused, with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively at all levels.
