An exciting opportunity as a Payroll Specialist is now available to join the team.
Reporting to the Pay and Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for processing payroll for over 650 employees on a fortnightly basis in a small close team environment. In addition to this, you will deal with all payroll queries which will require a strong knowledge of taxation, superannuation, agreements, remuneration packages and other relevant legislation whilst ensuring the highest standards of service and quality. Is it important as a Payroll Specialist to develop a good understanding of the business’ aims and structure as well as deliver these duties within deadlines and in compliance with the organisation.
The successful candidate will have sound knowledge and experience in payroll and a solid understanding of general accounting principles and procedures. Performing these tasks will require high levels of accuracy and attention to detail will be advantageous. You will have the ability to prioritise and deliver on strict time limits all the while establishing good relationships with multiple stakeholders. It goes without saying you will have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude that will influence those around you.
