Are you a detail-oriented Payroll Officer looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an experienced professional to manage end-to-end Australian payroll while also gaining exposure to payroll processes across the Asia Pacific region. This role is ideal for someone with ADP experience, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to payroll compliance.
Your Role
As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with Australian tax and employment regulations. Your key responsibilities will include:
✅ Processing end-to-end payroll on a monthly basis using ADP Managed Services & Payforce.
✅ Maintaining and updating employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.
✅ Managing payroll-related bank reconciliations and statutory obligations, including superannuation, payroll tax, and Fair Work compliance.
✅ Overseeing annual WGEA reporting and workers’ compensation renewals.
✅ Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting, including EOFY reconciliation and Payment Summaries.
✅ Acting as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and management.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
🔹 5+ years of payroll experience, processing Australian payroll in a fast-paced environment.
🔹 Strong working knowledge of ADP Managed Services & Payforce.
🔹 A solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation, tax, superannuation, and Fair Work requirements.
🔹 Strong Excel skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
🔹 Excellent time management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
🔹 The ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
