Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for your next leadership role? We are seeking a dynamic Payroll Team Leader to join a multi-site retail group with operations across Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and drive payroll excellence in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
Lead and Mentor: Manage and inspire a team of payroll professionals, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees across multiple sites.
Optimise Processes: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies,and manage reporting requirements.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues and support business objectives.
System Management: Oversee the use and maintenance of payroll systems, ensuring they are utilised effectively to support payroll operations.

Proven experience in a payroll leadership role within a large, multi-site organization.
Strong knowledge of payroll systems and best practices, with experience in system optimization and process improvement.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
