Why You?
✔️ You bring 5+ years’ experience in payroll processing within a corporate or professional services environment (legal industry experience a plus!).
✔️ You’re comfortable managing complex, multi-entity payrolls and have a thorough understanding of employment awards, PAYG, payroll tax, and superannuation legislation.
✔️ You have strong proficiency in payroll systems like ADP, Chris21, or Workday, alongside advanced Excel skills.
✔️ You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.
✔️ You have excellent stakeholder management skills and can confidently provide payroll guidance to senior leadership and HR teams.
The Role:
As a Senior Payroll Officer, you’ll take ownership of the payroll function, ensuring seamless operations across the firm. Your key responsibilities will include:
🔹 End-to-end payroll processing for legal professionals and support staff across multiple locations.
🔹 Managing payroll queries and liaising with HR and Finance teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
🔹 Overseeing employee benefits, salary packaging, and statutory deductions.
🔹 Handling monthly and annual payroll reconciliations, reporting, and compliance obligations.
🔹 Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and system efficiencies.
