Role Overview
This opportunity sits within a well-established infrastructure and engineering environment, supporting complex, project-based operations across multiple workstreams. The role is Brisbane-based and offers a modern office setting with a collaborative, delivery-focused finance team.
The business has a strong forward pipeline and a reputation for disciplined financial management. This is a hands-on Accounts Payable position suited to someone who enjoys ownership, accuracy and working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end accounts payable processing across project and corporate cost centres
High-volume invoice processing with accurate coding and timely approvals
Supplier statement reconciliations and payment runs
Managing subcontractor and vendor queries professionally and efficiently
Supporting month-end close activities related to accounts payable
Maintaining compliance with internal controls and approval frameworks
Working closely with project teams, procurement and commercial functions
About You
Proven experience in an Accounts Payable Officer or similar finance role
Background in construction, infrastructure, engineering or project-based environments preferred
Strong understanding of high-volume AP processes and controls
Confident working with ERP systems and finance software
Detail-oriented, organised and reliable in meeting deadlines
Comfortable working as part of a close-knit, high-performing finance team
