A highly regarded and rapidly growing advisory business is seeking an exceptional Chartered Accountant to lead its Outsourced CFO and Finance Services division.

You'll take ownership of a key portfolio, lead a high-performing team and play a pivotal role in the continued growth and evolution of the business.
Working directly with senior leadership, you'll help shape strategy, drive innovation and deliver high-quality finance solutions across a range of complex and commercially significant organisations.
The Role
This is far more than a traditional accounting leadership position.
You will act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders while leading a team responsible for delivering CFO, financial control, reporting, governance and strategic finance services.
You will have the autonomy to influence direction, improve processes, mentor future leaders and contribute to the ongoing success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
Oversee the delivery of outsourced CFO and finance services
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
Drive financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and governance activities
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence
Champion technology, automation and AI-driven efficiencies
Support business growth and strategic initiatives
Mentor and develop future leaders within the team
About You
You are a commercially minded finance professional who combines strong technical capability with natural leadership skills.
You are comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level and enjoy working closely with people, solving problems and creating better outcomes for clients and teams alike.
You will bring:
CA qualification
Strong leadership and people management experience
Background in advisory, business services, outsourced CFO, family office, professional services or commercial finance environments
Excellent stakeholder management skills
High levels of commercial acumen and emotional intelligence
A passion for innovation, technology and continuous improvement
