Job Description / Overview
Aequalis Consulting is currently supporting a number of energy and utilities projects across Queensland, with Project Engineers required to support delivery activity through 2026.
These opportunities sit within live project environments, working closely with site and project teams across gas, utilities and broader energy infrastructure. Some roles are Brisbane-based, while others offer FIFO or regional site exposure, depending on project stage.
This is a strong opportunity for Project Engineers who enjoy being close to delivery, solving problems on site, and contributing to projects with long-term pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of energy and utilities infrastructure projects across Queensland
Coordinate site activities, schedules and subcontractors
Assist with project planning, reporting and documentation
Work closely with construction, commercial and engineering teams
Support compliance, safety and quality requirements on site
About You
You will ideally bring:
A recognised engineering qualification (civil, mechanical or similar)
Experience as a Project Engineer within energy, utilities or infrastructure projects
Exposure to site-based delivery environments (construction, utilities, gas, energy)
Strong communication skills and the ability to work across project teams
Flexibility to work Brisbane-based or FIFO, depending on project needs
