Senior Project Engineer

We’re working with a top-tier infrastructure contractor on a key energy project in the Surat Basin — and they’re looking for a Senior Project Engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to drive real outcomes on site.

This is a role for someone who gets the big picture but isn’t afraid to get stuck in. You’ll be the right hand to the Project Manager — solving problems, moving pieces, and helping keep the show on the road across planning, procurement, delivery, and reporting.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and maintaining construction schedules (MSP) and tracking progress

• Reviewing IFC drawings and spotting issues before they hit site

• Managing scopes, resolving technical challenges, and coordinating stakeholders

• Leading forecasting, reporting, subcontractor procurement and delivery

• Taking ownership of safety, quality and cost outcomes across assigned packages

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ experience in infrastructure, oil & gas, or civil delivery

• Degree-qualified in Engineering (Mech or Elec preferred) or equivalent experience

• Experience working on pipelines, HDPE, or upstream gas projects (ideal but not essential)

• Strong communicator who’s calm under pressure and confident working with site teams

• A hands-on problem solver who’s ready to take that next step
