An established contractor delivering critical civil works across one of Queensland's leading coal mining operations is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join its team on a permanent basis.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll lead frontline civil construction activities across an operational mine site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You'll be responsible for coordinating crews, plant and subcontractors while maintaining strong relationships with site stakeholders and driving a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction activities on an operational coal mine.

• Lead, mentor and coordinate site crews and subcontractors.

• Plan daily work fronts, resources and plant requirements.

• Ensure compliance with all mine site safety systems and procedures.

• Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks and risk assessments.

• Monitor productivity, quality and programme delivery.

• Liaise with client representatives, engineers and project management.

• Foster a culture built on safety, accountability and teamwork.

About You

You'll bring proven supervisory experience within Queensland coal mining together with the confidence to lead teams in a fast-paced operational environment.

Ideally you'll possess:

• Previous experience supervising civil works on Queensland coal mines.

• Current Standard 11 Induction.

• G1, G8 & G9 Supervisor competencies.

• Current G2 qualification.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to coordinate multiple work fronts while maintaining safety and quality.

• A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
