Role Overview:
We are recruiting experienced HDPE Polywelders for pipeline, gas and energy infrastructure projects across Queensland. This role suits tradespeople seeking stable, long-term HDPE welding work on major linear infrastructure projects, with consistent project pipeline and structured site environments.
Working as part of a site-based construction team, you will deliver high-quality HDPE pipe welding using electrofusion and butt-fusion techniques, supporting safe and compliant construction across regional Queensland project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform HDPE pipe welding using electrofusion and butt-fusion methods.
Prepare, align and weld polyethylene pipelines in accordance with project specifications.
Record weld data and parameters using approved logging systems.
Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, dimensional accuracy and compliance.
Assist with pipeline installation, tie-ins and related construction activities.
Maintain welding equipment, tooling and consumables on site.
Work safely within construction teams across pipeline and gas infrastructure projects.
About You:
Proven experience in HDPE welding on pipeline, gas or infrastructure projects.
Competency in electrofusion and butt-fusion welding techniques.
Relevant polywelding certification, trade qualification or demonstrated field experience.
Strong understanding of welding standards, safety requirements and quality controls.
Ability to work across regional Queensland sites under rostered or project-based arrangements.
Practical, reliable and team-focused approach to site work.
