Project Administrator – FIFO Site-Based Projects | Queensland Jobs 2026

Role Overview

Aequalis Consulting is currently supporting a number of FIFO and regional project teams across Queensland, working on major infrastructure, energy and utilities projects scheduled throughout 2026.

Due to ongoing project mobilisation and workforce planning, we’re seeking experienced Project Administrators / Site Administrators to support site-based delivery teams in fast-paced, operational environments.

These roles are ideal for administrators who enjoy working close to construction and engineering teams and want exposure to large-scale projects with established systems, processes and leadership structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day project and site administration support

• Assisting Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors with reporting and documentation

• Managing site documentation, registers, correspondence and filing systems

• Supporting onboarding, mobilisation and workforce administration

• Coordinating timesheets, expenses, purchase orders and cost tracking

• Liaising with head office teams and external stakeholders

• Ensuring compliance with site systems, safety and quality requirements

About You

You’ll ideally bring:

• Previous experience as a Project Administrator or Site Administrator within construction, infrastructure, energy or utilities environments

• Experience working in FIFO or remote site-based roles

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Confidence working with project delivery teams in operational environments

• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do approach

• Familiarity with project systems, document control or ERP platforms (advantageous)
