A well-established and rapidly growing civil infrastructure contractor is seeking a Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer to join their high-performing team in Brisbane.

With a strong track record of delivering complex infrastructure and civil projects across Queensland, this organisation is known for its hands-on leadership, collaborative culture, and commitment to quality project delivery. Continued project wins and a healthy pipeline of work have created an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to step into a key delivery role.

The Role

Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of civil infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing project planning, programming and coordination

• Overseeing procurement and subcontractor management

• Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasting

• Ensuring compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards

• Driving project delivery outcomes in line with timelines and objectives

• Preparing and reviewing technical documentation and reports

• Liaising with key stakeholders including clients, consultants and contractors

• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers (senior level)

About You

You are a motivated and delivery-focused engineer who thrives in a fast-paced project environment.

You will bring:

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer within civil/infrastructure projects

• Strong understanding of project delivery, contracts and commercial aspects

• Experience managing subcontractors and site activities

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
