Quantity Surveyor – Civil & Infrastructure Projects (QLD)
Permanent | Southeast Queensland | Strong Project Pipeline
Aequalis Consulting is partnering with a leading civil & infrastructure contractor delivering major road, utilities, and gas sector projects across Queensland. We are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support commercial, financial, and contractual functions across multiple active projects.
This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced delivery environment, enjoys working closely with Project Managers and Site Engineers, and is comfortable owning project financial performance from end to end.
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing cost control, forecasting & financial reporting across civil & infrastructure projects
Preparing progress claims, variations, EOTs, subcontractor payments & procurement
Working closely with project teams to track production, quantities, productivity & cost-to-complete
Ensuring compliance with contracts, scopes of work and commercial frameworks
Supporting tender reviews, BOQs, cost plans and commercial risk assessments
Providing accurate, timely advice to support project delivery decisions
Maintaining documentation, cost records and project commercial files
What You Need
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Contracts Administrator, or Cost Engineer in civil, infrastructure, utilities, energy, or CSG projects
Strong understanding of cost management, variations, forecasting & commercial reporting
Ability to interpret civil drawings, specifications, schedules and BOQs
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Excellent attention to detail and documentation discipline
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or similar (preferred)
