Aequalis Consulting is supporting a strong pipeline of major infrastructure, energy and utilities projects across Queensland, with opportunities emerging for experienced Senior Contract Administrators heading into 2026.
These roles sit within established project teams delivering large-scale, complex works across transport, energy, utilities and civil infrastructure. Opportunities are available on long-term projects, with Brisbane-based, regional and project-based options depending on experience and preference.

The Role
As a Senior Contract Administrator, you will play a key role in the commercial management and delivery of major projects, working closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers and site teams.
Responsibilities may include:
End-to-end contract administration across major infrastructure or energy projects
Managing variations, claims, progress claims and subcontractor payments
Supporting commercial reporting, forecasting and cost control
Working collaboratively with site, engineering and commercial teams
Ensuring contractual compliance and risk management across project delivery
Contributing to procurement strategies and subcontractor negotiations
About You
You will ideally bring:
Proven experience as a Senior Contract Administrator within infrastructure, civil, energy or utilities projects
Strong understanding of contracts, commercial risk and project controls
Experience working in live, site-based or project delivery environments
Confidence managing subcontractor relationships and commercial negotiations
Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
Exposure to major or complex projects with multiple stakeholders
Experience across transport, utilities, energy, civil or major projects will be highly regarded.
