Location: FIFO – Surat Basin, QLD (19 days on / 9 days off)
Job Type: Permanent FIFO
Role Overview
This role is part of a major gas gathering infrastructure program in the Surat Basin, supporting the construction and expansion of upstream gas assets including pipelines, facilities and associated civil and mechanical works.
It’s ideally suited to an ambitious Civil or Mechanical Engineer who has progressed from Site Engineer into Project Engineer and is now ready to step into a broader leadership role. Working as second-in-charge to the Project Manager, you’ll be exposed to the full scope of delivery — technical, commercial, planning and people leadership — on a live, fast-moving gas project.
The FIFO 19/9 roster allows you to properly embed into the project, build ownership and credibility on site, and accelerate your development toward future Project Manager responsibility, while still providing structured time away from site.
