Role Overview
An expanding Infrastructure Advisory – Business Case team is seeking a Consultant to support the planning, procurement and delivery of major, nation-shaping infrastructure projects across Australia. The work spans government and private sector engagements, with exposure to transport, social infrastructure, utilities and energy projects.
This role is well suited to a consultant with around 3–5 years’ experience who is looking for broader commercial exposure, greater autonomy and earlier responsibility than typically found in larger consulting environments. The team is known for its energy, ambition and grounded approach—client-first, outcomes-focused and commercially disciplined.
Key Responsibilities
Support development of business cases for major infrastructure projects
Contribute to strategic planning, options analysis and investment decision-making
Assist with commercial, financial and risk analysis across infrastructure transactions
Prepare high-quality reports, models and presentations aligned with public sector frameworks
Engage with government and private sector stakeholders under senior guidance
Work across multiple advisory engagements with increasing ownership over delivery
About You
3–5 years’ experience in management consulting, infrastructure advisory, economics, finance or a related field
Exposure to infrastructure business cases, investment analysis, commercial advisory or public sector environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with clear written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in collaborative teams while managing your own workstreams
Commercially minded, curious and motivated by real-world infrastructure outcomes
