Role Overview

This role sits within a well-established Transaction Management advisory team supporting the planning, structuring and delivery of major civil and social infrastructure programs across Australia. The Brisbane market offers a unique opportunity for emerging and mid-level consultants to build depth quickly, working closely with senior practitioners on complex, high-value transactions.

With Queensland entering a sustained infrastructure cycle driven by transport, renewables, water, property and 2032 Olympics–related programs, this position provides direct exposure to nation-shaping projects while remaining embedded in a collaborative, technically strong advisory environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end infrastructure transaction processes, including EOI, RFP and contract documentation

  • Assist with development of commercial structures, procurement strategies and delivery models

  • Analyse commercial, financial and risk inputs to inform evaluation and transaction strategy

  • Coordinate inputs across multidisciplinary advisory teams to produce high-quality client outputs

  • Manage defined workstreams within larger advisory engagements, ensuring quality and timelines

  • Contribute to client presentations, evaluation processes and negotiations

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of internal transaction methodologies and templates

About You

  • Background in infrastructure advisory, commercial, procurement or project delivery

  • Experience working in complex, fast-paced project environments

  • Comfortable collaborating across technical, commercial and stakeholder disciplines

  • Motivated to deepen capability in commercial and transaction advisory

You Will Bring

  • 3–6+ years’ experience in infrastructure consulting, commercial advisory or procurement

  • Working knowledge of infrastructure contract models such as D&C, PPP, Alliance, Managing Contractor and ECI

  • Strong analytical capability with confidence interpreting commercial and risk information

  • Clear, structured communication skills suited to government and private sector clients

  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage discrete workstreams

  • A collaborative mindset and long-term interest in infrastructure advisory careers

Why Apply

  • Exposure to major Queensland and national infrastructure programs, including Olympics-driven investment

  • Opportunity to work side-by-side with experienced transaction advisors in a growing Brisbane market

  • Strong project pipeline across transport, energy, water and social infrastructure

  • Clear career development pathway within a respected advisory environment

  • Balanced approach to hybrid working and in-office collaboration

  • Long-term role suited to consultants looking to build depth, not just move projects
