Senior Lead Estimator

As a Senior Estimator, you’ll be a key player in the pre-construction phase — shaping competitive tenders, driving cost accuracy, and working closely with clients and consultants from concept through to delivery handover.

What you'll be doing:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive tenders for residential and commercial projects

• Analyse drawings, specs, and subcontractor quotes to compile accurate BOQs

• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to source pricing and scope

• Provide buildability input, risk assessment, and value engineering options

• Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership during bid strategy development

• Contribute to systems improvements and mentoring junior team members

  
  

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years' estimating experience in the construction sector (residential or commercial)

• Deep understanding of construction methodology, cost planning, and tender strategy

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple bids

• Skilled in estimating software (e.g., Buildsoft, CostX, or similar)

• Clear communicator who thrives in a team-focused environment
