The Opportunity

Our client is a highly regarded infrastructure organisation with a strong presence across Australia, delivering critical projects that shape communities and support long-term economic growth. Due to ongoing growth, an opportunity now exists for an HR / Administration Officer to join their Brisbane-based team. This is a fantastic entry-to-intermediate level role suited to someone with a few years’ experience who is looking to build a long-term career in HR within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

The Role

Working closely with the HR team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR and recruitment function, ensuring smooth and efficient people processes across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting end-to-end recruitment coordination

• Preparing employment contracts, variations and HR documentation

• Managing onboarding and offboarding processes

• Assisting with employee set-up and HRIS updates

• Handling payroll queries and contract changes

• Drafting letters and employee communications

• Monitoring and responding to the HR inbox

• Providing general administrative support to the HR function

About You

You are an organised and proactive individual who enjoys being the go-to support within a busy HR team.

You will bring:

• 2–4 years’ experience in HR, recruitment or administration

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

• Exposure to HR systems and processes (highly regarded)
