The Opportunity
Our client is a highly regarded infrastructure organisation with a strong presence across Australia, delivering critical projects that shape communities and support long-term economic growth. Due to ongoing growth, an opportunity now exists for an HR / Administration Officer to join their Brisbane-based team. This is a fantastic entry-to-intermediate level role suited to someone with a few years’ experience who is looking to build a long-term career in HR within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
The Role
Working closely with the HR team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR and recruitment function, ensuring smooth and efficient people processes across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting end-to-end recruitment coordination
Preparing employment contracts, variations and HR documentation
Managing onboarding and offboarding processes
Assisting with employee set-up and HRIS updates
Handling payroll queries and contract changes
Drafting letters and employee communications
Monitoring and responding to the HR inbox
Providing general administrative support to the HR function
About You
You are an organised and proactive individual who enjoys being the go-to support within a busy HR team.
You will bring:
2–4 years’ experience in HR, recruitment or administration
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Exposure to HR systems and processes (highly regarded)
