You’ve done your CA. You’ve built a solid foundation in a Big 4 or top-tier firm. You’ve spent a few years in a commercial environment proving you can operate in the real world of business — and now you’re ready for a role that gives you more variety, more visibility, and more impact.
The Role
This is a hands-on, commercially charged finance role where you’ll manage the numbers for a portfolio of exciting, fast-moving businesses. You’ll work directly with founders, investors and senior execs — not just preparing reports, but helping shape decisions. You’ll lead and develop a small team, keep delivery sharp and on time, and be trusted to identify opportunities for your clients and the business.
You will:
Manage end-to-end finance for a portfolio of high-growth clients.
Lead and mentor a capable, motivated team.
Partner with business leaders to provide commercial insights, challenge thinking, and add value.
Identify opportunities for process and performance improvement.
Contribute to business development, growing your own client base over time.
About You
CA-qualified (or equivalent) with initial training in Big 4 or a top-tier firm.
2–5 years’ experience in a commercial environment after leaving chartered.
Commercially minded, confident, and able to hold your own with senior stakeholders.
Thrive on variety, pace, and a balance of hands-on detail and strategic input.
Enjoy mentoring and developing others in a collaborative team.
