They’re looking for a Financial Controller who can balance technical excellence with commercial impact, leading the finance function and partnering directly with the business.

This is not a back-office role — you’ll be front and centre, shaping strategy, guiding client commercials, and ensuring the business is set up to thrive.

What you’ll do

• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team.

• Deliver accurate group reporting, cashflow and forecasting.

• Partner with creative and client service leaders to drive profitability.

• Manage client commercials, WIP, and contract reporting.

• Lead process improvements and modernise financial systems.

• Work closely with the leadership team on strategy, planning, and growth.

About you

• Chartered Accountant with a strong grounding in audit/advisory, plus 5–8 years’ commercial experience.

• Experience in advertising, media, creative, or similar fast-paced industries is highly desirable.

• Strong communicator, confident engaging with non-finance stakeholders.

• Commercially sharp, energetic, and able to hold your own in senior conversations.

• Hands-on leader who can roll up sleeves while still operating strategically.
