This leading infrastructure and services provider is at the forefront of delivering transformative projects across key industries. With a strong pipeline of major tenders, we are seeking a Commercial Analyst to play a critical role in supporting the bid process by providing financial insights, pricing strategies, and commercial analysis.


Your Role

As a Commercial Analyst, you will work closely with bid teams and senior stakeholders to develop winning commercial strategies that align with business objectives. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Financial modelling and scenario analysis to assess tender viability and competitive positioning.

  • Cost estimation and pricing strategy development to optimise bid success.

  • Market and industry analysis to identify opportunities and assess competitive landscapes.

  • Risk assessment and mitigation planning to ensure commercial sustainability.

  • Stakeholder engagement with finance, operations, legal, and procurement teams to align bid strategies.

  • Supporting negotiations by providing commercial insights and data-driven recommendations.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A strong background in commercial analysis, financial modelling, or bid pricing.

  • Experience in infrastructure, transport, government tenders, or large-scale procurement is highly desirable.

  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with the ability to handle complex datasets.

  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • The ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.

  • A degree in finance, commerce, economics, or a related field; CPA, CA, or CFA qualifications are a plus.
