Our client is delivering one of the most important rail infrastructure programs currently underway in NSW. Known for their track record on live rail and brownfield environments, they’ve built a reputation for solving complex problems without losing sight of delivery. As a Commercial Manager, you’ll lead the commercial strategy and contract performance across critical works packages.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the commercial function across multiple rail work streams
Review and negotiate contracts, claims, and client-facing documentation
Oversee procurement strategies, cost reporting, and change management
Ensure compliance with contract terms, governance standards, and safety KPIs
Support internal commercial development and mentor junior staff
Act as the point of contact for legal, finance, and external project stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in commercial leadership roles on rail or complex civil infrastructure
Adept at managing contracts, client relationships, and commercial risk
Strong financial reporting and forecasting skills
Known for calm under pressure, with a practical, solutions-first mindset
Clear communicator with experience navigating multi-stakeholder environments
