The Opportunity

Our client is a dynamic, high-growth company that’s revolutionising how businesses connect to the cloud. With a global presence and a collaborative culture, they’re looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join their Brisbane-based team. Reporting to the Global Payroll Manager, you’ll play a critical role in managing payroll across multiple countries, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for fortnightly, monthly, and off-cycle pay runs.

  • Reconcile and lodge superannuation and retirement fund payments, ensuring compliance across regions.

  • Manage payroll tax returns, WorkCover lodgements, and year-end reporting.

  • Resolve internal and external payroll queries with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Maintain and manage employee leave records and ensure policy compliance.

  • Partner with the payroll manager to ensure compliance with all payroll-related legislation globally.

  • Provide system guidance on payroll tools, including ADP and Trinet.

  • Support P&C projects and assist with audits as needed.


What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in global payroll within a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to confidentiality.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage across cultures.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.

  • Confidence in using payroll systems like ADP or Trinet (preferred but not essential).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with strong analytical capabilities.
