We’re seeking an experienced Project Commercial Manager to take full commercial ownership of a major infrastructure project in New South Wales. This role will lead the financial and contractual governance of the program — from reporting and claims to procurement and risk.
It’s an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, shaping commercial strategy, and working closely with delivery partners to ensure profitable outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
Leading contract negotiations and managing commercial risk
Finalising subcontractor agreements and reviewing commercial performance
Advising project leadership on contractual and financial matters
Managing project insurances, claims, and notifications
Mentoring junior commercial staff and embedding commercial discipline
About you:
Background in civil construction or infrastructure delivery
Previous experience managing commercial teams on large projects
Strong understanding of contract law, cost management, and financial reporting
Confident communicator with excellent negotiation skills
Capable of driving commercial performance while maintaining strong client relationships
Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Law, Quantity Surveying, or Accounting
Driver’s licence and willingness to travel if required
