Operations Manager

We’re working with a national healthcare organisation to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to take the lead on maintenance delivery and long-term lifecycle planning across a portfolio of critical healthcare assets.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading the delivery of hard facilities management services across a national healthcare asset portfolio

• Developing and implementing asset lifecycle strategies — from condition assessments to long-term capital works plans

• Managing contracts and vendor performance for maintenance and reactive services

• Ensuring compliance with statutory, safety, and accreditation requirements

• Overseeing preventative and corrective maintenance schedules in collaboration with on-site teams

• Working closely with asset management, finance, and clinical leadership to align operations with broader business objectives

• Providing reporting, insights, and operational recommendations to senior executives

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience managing facilities or asset operations across healthcare, aged care, or large-scale infrastructure environments

• Deep knowledge of maintenance planning, lifecycle asset management, and compliance frameworks

• Strong contract management skills — including vendor performance, KPI oversight, and budget control

• An ability to translate strategy into practical operations that improve performance and reduce risk

• Qualifications in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related field
